NEW CLASSICS

The art of sake brewing has been refined over centuries through deeper understanding of the working of myriad microorganisms. With our Inspirations line, we hope to carry that inheritance forward by creating sake that expresses lessons we have learned from exploring the natural elements of sake brewing. It features sake brewed from ecologically grown Hattanso, an heirloom Hiroshima sake which is the only variety Fukucho grows, for a purer expression of Fukucho’s identity, or our own reinterpretation of traditional sake brewing based on complex microorganisms. The Shimanami label itself represents the natural scenery of islands dotting the Seto Inland Sea that spreads out in front of the brewery's home in Akitsu.
